Volvo Car USA and Southern California Volvo Retailers Supports LA Wildfire Victims With $100,000 Donation to Baby2Baby
Volvo Car USA and Southern California Volvo Retailers are helping provide emergency supplies to the most vulnerable children and families affected by the Los Angeles wildfires with a $100,000 donation to Baby2Baby.
Diapers, food, formula, water, clothing and blankets are just some items being collected and distributed by the organization, a nationally recognized nonprofit that has served over one million children in over 300 cities nationwide since its inception in 2011.
“The immense and unprecedented wildfires that have struck Los Angeles this month are heartbreaking, and our thoughts go out to the entire Los Angeles community,” said Mike Cottone, Volvo Car USA and Canada President and CEO. “We are proud to support Baby2Baby, a longtime partner of Volvo Cars, and their efforts to help those who need it most.”
“As a company that is and always will be about keeping people safe and a proud part of the Southern California community for 70 years, we are grateful for the hard work of the heroic men and women of the multiple fire agencies, public safety agencies, community organizations and volunteer groups that have come together in this difficult moment,” Cottone added.
Volvo Car USA is also aiding drivers whose cars may have been damaged or destroyed by the fires by offering $1,000 toward the purchase or lease of a new Volvo car. This can be combined with other currently available offers. Those interested should contact their Los Angeles Volvo Car retailer at www.volvocars.com.
In addition, qualified Volvo Car Financial Services (VCFS) customers impacted by the fires can apply for payment flexibility in their lease or loan terms by visiting www.volvocarfinancialservices.
