The Renault 5 Turbo 3E is a real highlight. It’s an electric version of the famous Renault 5 Turbo. With two electric motors that deliver over 500 bhp, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, which is as fast as some sports cars.
Renault isn’t just slapping old names on new tech. Design chief Gilles Vidal says calling the new five a “Turbo” isn’t about copying the past but capturing a mindset. “It’s a spirit,” he said. The badge signals punch and personality, not a throwback gimmick.
The French automaker plans a limited production run of 1,980 units for the Renault 5 Turbo 3E, honoring the original model’s launch year.
